The Historic Quintuple Stella

Three examples of pattern (experimental) $20 denomination "Quintuple Stella" coins struck in 1879 will be displayed for the first time in Texas, including two of the five known gold versions and one of the 12 struck in copper as a test for a design never used in circulation. These historic coins are on exhibit courtesy of the BRS Legacy Collection.
